Tram Venkatraman, a Distinguished Alumni Awardee of NIT Trichy, has over 35 years of extensive experience in the engineering, IT and services industries. He has a rich experience in managing and growing BPO/KPO businesses, having worked for companies such as Allsec Technologies and TCS BPO. In the BPO/KPO industry, Tram is well recognized as a high energy organization builder with a passion for incubating, establishing and scaling new businesses. He was one of the early pioneers and opinion leaders in the Indian contact center industry. Tram is a skilled integrator with proven track record of managing post merger integration, scaling organizations, coaching and mentoring people to scale to leadership roles. As the President of Scope e-Knowledge Center, Tram managed the company through the Promoter team transition and now leads the BU with responsibility for P&L, Operations, business and markets expansion in an endeavour to establish scale in the niche areas that Scope specializes in.
In his earlier stint of 5 years with TCS, he was responsible for delivery of Business Process Services. Post his role as Head of Operations at TCS BPO, he managed a large M&A Integration and subsequently moved in as the Head of KPO Services. At Allsec Technologies, where he worked for five years prior to TCS, he was part of the start-up management team and played a key role in Sales, Marketing & Biz Development. Tram has also worked for reputed organizations such as Crompton Greaves, Macneill & Magor, Fenner, Advani Oerliken and Emerson Electric.
