Deborah joined Scope in May 2013 as Associate Vice President, Business Development (UK & Europe). In this role she leads Scope’s marketing efforts in supporting and building commercial relationships with publishers, information providers and related organizations in UK & Europe. Deborah brings with her rich experience in the Publishing domain which she leverages to consult with prospective Scope clients in the region in building technology enabled solutions for their content enhancement needs and builds new business relationships for Scope. Deborah helps Scope focus on nurturing client relationship and developing it to a more strategic level for a long term relationship. She also assists allied business promotional activities such as conferences and exhibitions in the UK, Europe region.
Deborah has over 25 years of experience in the academic publishing and library markets. She has a sound understanding of content and the usage of content in the academic setting. An expert in nurturing long-term relationships with clients, she has held eminent positions in the past and helped the organizations she served achieve their strategic sales goals. In her most recent position at Credo, she managed international sales.
