Manchester University Press Selects Scope’s ConSCIse™ for Book and Chapter Abstracts

Chennai, India, August 27, 2018: Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), an SPi Global Company, is pleased to announce that they have been selected by the Manchester University Press (MUP) to create book and chapter abstracts for their online publications, which include collections such as Manchester Medieval Sources, Manchester Gothic and Manchester Studies in Imperialism.

Scope e-Knowledge Center (Scope), an SPi Global Company, and Anna University have announced that a collaborative work on a Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) based algorithm for keyphrase extraction from unstructured text, entitled “A Supervised Learning to Rank Approach for Dependency Based Concept Extraction and Repository Based Boosting for Domain Text Indexing” was presented during the 23rd International Conference on Natural Language & Information Systems (June 13 – 15, 2018, Paris, France). SPi Global acquires Scope e-Knowledge Center

Chennai: SPi Global, a Philippines-based content technology and solutions enterprise on Tuesday, said it has acquired Chennai-headquartered Scope e-Knowledge Center for an undisclosed sum. Scope is one of the five businesses under the umbrella of the Quatrro group of companies, largely focused on services and fulfilment, leveraging platforms and technology in specified domains. The company’s 1,100 employees will now be part of SPi Global.
