How ECM helps AI evolve

How ECM helps AI evolve

March 20, 2018

For Artificial Intelligence (AI) to reach its potential, it needs high quality, clean data and deep learning repositories, which will offer a steady supply of data needed for AI to evolve. This is why Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems are critical to the evolution of AI.

Without ECM, AI applications will be starved of the data they need to run. All AI technologies of deep content analytics (deep CA), ontology, and natural language processing (NLP) are covered in cognitive services and accessible via ECM applications. For example, there is also the potential to integrate into statistical and semantic modeling.

Furthermore, ECM systems are capable of processing enormous amounts of information and can offer the necessary context-sensitive software that can manage and store large volumes of data and, if required, scale it horizontally. This ensures that AI will be never short of information that it needs to learn and evolve.
