Challenge:


The Client wanted

  • Validation and updating of 250,000 company information.
  • Collection of products / service information and mapping of each product to client’s category and sub category.
  • Increasing the count of products / services from average 2.5 to 10 products per company to attract revenue for those products as well and ensuring the presence of primary products.  
  • Ensuring data collection / population across domains. Scope had the prerogative to select 10 products from company’s site.
  • Generating from company’s website and mapping it with client’s database / taxonomy and Creation of an enhanced taxonomy.
  • Validation of corporate information, address, telephone number etc extracted by the web crawler.
  • Improve quality level from 30% to 90%.

 

Scope’s Approach

  • Validated details for 250,000 companies
  • Linked existing products to the database and added numerous new products to the taxonomy
  • Segregated B2C companies from the database
  • Collected up to 40 products for over 1000 companies
  • Took on additional volumes and still managed to complete the assignment within the given time frame (1 week)
  • Developed software which resulted in the improvement of  quality and quantity
  • Recruited and trained 70 people within 15 days time
  • Managed to get the volumes handled by the other vendor
